Wealth becomes Treath
These days, long story short, greed has controlled man. It is prioritizing wealth over our responsibilities toward the environment. Specifically, mining and men abusively take advantage of the wealth waiting for them. As a student, it is best to be observant of the environment around me. Moreover, yes, I will talk about mining. Of course, I will be dealing with the pros and cons of mining.
Nevertheless, what is mining? Mining extracts valuable materials from the earth. First, we talk about the pros of mining. We all know that mining gives us wealth, which somehow proves how a country progresses. In addition, some of the minerals extracted are used to make jewelry and many more. Besides its benefits to the economy, appropriately or improperly managed mining still significantly impacts the environment and the people near it. The environment speaks for itself. Just by looking at the mining sites, you can see forests that were demolished and chemicals used, leading to soil contamination and biodiversity loss in the worst-case scenario.
As a student, I have to spread my advocacy about mining. It is about sustainable development, which is benefiting without destroying it. This advocacy is straightforward yet has an impact on the reader. Thus it can be eye-opening for people to change their perspective toward wealth and remind their responsibilities in our environment.
Mining is beneficial, but we must always know our limits and responsibilities. God has given us the earth, and our responsibility is to maintain and improve what God has given us.
