Kannawidan where cultures and happiness overflows



      

      The Kannawidan Ylocos Festival is one of the best and most awaited festivals in Ilocos. It symbolizes the time where our province was established. It is the time where people and cultures of all municipalities inside Ilocos Sur reunites, it is the time where Ilocos Sur shine its best.



       The Kannawidan Ylocos Festival is significant to us in terms of culture and history of our own. It intrigues us more of our own culture. In the festival, we tend to spread how great our culture and the history of it. In festivals, we tend to have deep realizations within ourselves, this can be done by spreading facts and awareness of the festival. Festival also are the home of various native delicacies. Celebrating the festival is the Ilocanos’ common language of gratitude, gratitude for rich culture and blessings and gifts from God that we have received, also symbolizes reunion of Ilocano’s that give meaning to Ilocos Sur.



       With Kannawidan going still throughout the future and present generations, the rich culture and the continuous improvement of our province, it’ll remain on our hearts and will never be forgotten. Let us be more local, love the culture of our own, let us not dump the great things we had.
